RewardQ (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company') establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints quickly and smoothly.
1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 will be implemented.
- Member registration and management: Identity verification, prevention of fraudulent use, various notices/notifications.
- Provision of reward service: Distribution of free entry tickets, draw result inquiry, payout of rewards and related tax reporting processing.
2. Items of Personal Information Processed
The Company collects the following personal information to provide services.
- Required items: Name, Social ID (Google), Email address, Service use records.
- Additional collection for reward payout: Account information (Bank name, Account holder, Account number), Resident Registration Number (or equivalent TIN), Address, Phone number (for tax processing and reporting to tax authorities - only when exceeding legal thresholds).
3. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information
- The Company processes and retains personal information within the personal information retention/use period according to laws or the period agreed upon when collecting personal information from the data subject.
- Upon withdrawal of membership: Immediate destruction. However, it may be stored for a certain period (30 days) to prevent fraudulent use.
- Retention according to relevant laws: Records on contracts or subscription withdrawal (5 years), Records on consumer complaints or dispute handling (3 years), Records on tax payment and reporting to tax authorities (5 years).
4. Third-Party Provision and Entrustment of Personal Information
The Company does not provide personal information to external parties without the data subject's consent. However, if necessary for service provision, it may be entrusted as follows.
- Ad Service: Google AdMob (Use of anonymous device identifiers for ad provision and reward linking)
- Cloud Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (Data storage and server operation)
- Authentication Service: Firebase Auth (Social login identity verification)
5. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them
Users can inquire or modify their registered personal information at any time and request termination of membership (withdrawal of consent).
6. Procedure and Method of Personal Information Destruction
The Company destroys personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose. Information in electronic file format is destroyed using technical methods that cannot reproduce the records.
